Road access on Passaconaway Rd from West Side Road in Conway. No access from the Kancamaugus Hwy as that end of Passaconoway Rd is gated shortly after passing through the Albany Covered Bridge.
Plowed lot was full after 10 AM today. There were no cars parked on the road.

Excellent, firm, well developed and packed trail up to the more exposed areas near S Moat Peak. Microscopes until these open areas then snowshoes are necessary. My friend and I had to break trail over to Middle Moat Mt. Snowshoes required, thin broken crust over varying depths of snow from 2 to 24 inches deep. We aborted out original plans to decend via Red Ridge Tr. due to slow, unpacked conditions
