Warm day. Sticky until half way up Carter-Moriah trail after Imp junction - happily bare booted until this point then switched to televator snowshoes for remainder (made the switch to boots same spot on the descent). Could’ve bare booted the entire thing without too much fuss, but snowshoes were nice up higher within the well formed snowshoe trench. Lightning Bug (3-legged woof) had a reasonably easy day without soft stuff to post hole, neither powder nor softened spring snow. Cheers! |
