Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: lot by new trailhead is plowed enough for 4 to 5 cars, watch out for the snowmobiles, tracks go by that lot. I heard that brush had been added to the old trailhead to discourage anyone froom using it.

Comments: Snowshoes from start to finish, they are still needed, especially above Surprise. It would be a tough hike without them, the trails are broken out but very unconsolidated.
Shoutout to the only other couple on the trails, they came from New York and brought their snowshoes!
