 | Comments: |
Sunset loop over Burnt Mountain and Coburn Hill in Lebanon, NH. Westline to the Burnt overlook ledge was well packed out, as was Northside (tracks coming up from Boston Lot Lake). The Water Tower Road on Coburn Hill (gated road) was plowed. The rest of the trails were minimally packed with postholes and I switched to snowshoes for them. Always impressed with the view from the Burnt Mountain ledge--despite its location near DHMC, Hanover, and downtown Lebanon, the view angle over the undeveloped East Wilder hills has a remote, wilderness feel to it. |
