Great day with plenty of blue skys and some wind. Started out with maybe an inch of new snow at the trailhead that became maybe five inches of new snow up higher. Wind blown snow including some knee high drifts sometimes made it hard to follow the trail and that slowed us down. Did not see another person until we got back to the trailhead. He had gone up behind us and done it as an out and back. |
