A beautiful sunny day for a relaxed walk around these short trails. Snowshoes are recommended here as this is a cross-country ski trail network in winter.
Pine Flats, Yellow Jacket, and Smarts Brook were packed sidewalks. Tri-Town had seen less traffic and the previous snowshoe track and been booted and postholed in places. I did my best to smooth it out and snowshoes were the most beneficial here. Lots of lovely ice inside the gorge along Pine Flats. Looks like skiers have been having fun diverting off into the woods at several spots. |
