Comments
Comments: Definitely snowshoes all day! Blueberry Ledge was broken out but very soft. The steep rock bit actually had some bare rock surrounded by snow - we got up without even taking off our showshoes. No ice to speak of. There was a loose, slippery ledge above that that sent me sliding back down the trail, but a quick assist got me to the top! Once at the Pass junction, we had no issues up and down Dicey's Mill to Ferncroft. We tried taking our snowshoes off down low, but it was still too soft. Fun day :).
