Comments
Comments: Snowshoes from the Rail Depot all the way around the loop. However, the trails are quite broken in, even with the new snow. A very enjoyable snowshoe day. Some people were out in microspikes and some just bare-booting - you can be successful with any of these options, but, on the steeper sections of A-to-Z and Avalon I appreciated the teeth on my snowshoes and the additional float when sliding. Some glisading folks have created quite the packed tubes on Avalon, so, those will get slippery fast if we get freeze/thaw conditions, but for now, everything is super snowy winter conditions.
