 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
My silly Honda Accord hybrid was really trying to decide whether to make it up to the Cog lot (which I chose for the better plowing) but persevered with encouragement. There was a Prius behind me in the same predicament. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
great - however, I found the signage around the trail re-route confusing and there is an unmarked but very broken-out section of trail leading to the route. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw 3 adorable dogs. One had apparently bit a previous hiker but were nothing but doggie smiles by the time I saw the dog in question. (it was leashed) |

 | Bugs: |
Ha! |

 | Lost and Found: |
Someone found my mitten! Thank you! There is a grey hat hanging along the weird re-route |

 | Comments: |
Trail got foggier and foggier up to the hut, and there was about 10 feet or less visibility past the hut. I couldn't see more than one cairn at a time, and when I could see no cairns and the tracks I was following ended (about halfway up the final steep bit of the summit loop) I decided to quit while I was ahead!
