Comments
Comments: The trail is packed down well the whole way. I wore snowshoes the whole way up, but spikes would be totally fine for the first couple of miles which are at a very mellow grade. Snow got much softer once the climbing really started and I was glad to be in snowshoes. It looked like trail conditions would have been similar if you were heading down or up the Carter-Moriah trail when I went up the last bit that takes you to the summit but I didn't look too closely. There weren't many people out for a bluebird Sunday and I had the summit and whole descent to myself.
