Comments
Comments: Mt Kinsman Trail is loosely packed powder, great for snowshoes. The lower half, as far as Bald Peak Spur, has seen a lot of microspikes and some bare boots, so there's some digging of the trail, although actual postholing is rare. Snowsheing condition is generally good. Above the Spur, there have been fewer spikers and bare booters, and snowshoe conditions are excellent. Snow is 3 feet deep or so up high. Trees are heavily laden with snow at elevation. Bluebird day!
