Trails are in good shape and very much in choose your own footwear condition. Snowshoes with televators up the cog was a no brainer, but Gulfside could be spikes, crampons or snowshoes since it alternates from hard pack to ice to smaller drifts. I stuck with snowshoes all day and they were fine. Everyone else was in either snowshoes or spikes with similar results. Had a nice walk out with Granny Gear after a chance meeting just below Jefferson.
