 | Comments: |
It was a great day for a twins galehead traverse. There was a few inches of new snow from saturdays storm to break out. The north twin spur was covered in drifts, spruce traps and low tree branches. I fell up to my waist at one point. The frost trail was very narrow. There were a few other people hiking galehead so gale river trail was in great shape on the way down. We snowshoed all day. None of these trails would have ok in microspikes. |
