Soft but doable with spikes. I went to snowshoes for the elevators after the last water crossing when it gets steep. After Scaur it gets more unconsolidated, but definitely firmer with today's traffic. A lot of post holing between the peaks as well as many annoying pokey branches. One set of tracks doing the loop from Waterville from a few days prior. I should have just done it from there since I was over there in the morning. Oh well. |
