Beautifully packed trail all the way today, except for the light, fresh snow that had just fallen, so no real trail breaking today. Superb blue sky after reaching the Tentsite, and all across the ridge. There are a few blowdowns on the ridge between Liberty and Flume, but someone has already removed the 'eye-pokers' from the trunk. These trails are in great shape, without a lot of postholing to deal with. We wore snow shoes from the parking lot and back to keep it that way :) |
