 | Comments: |
4 wheelers and snow machine tracks on road made for a mealy walk (like walking in sand) to trailhead - would suggest snowshoes for this section. We used microspikes and carried snowshoes for the entire hike. The trail was firm with a inch of new snow. The final accent required care - poles were handy.
Garfield Ridge Trail towards Galehead had tracks but far from broken out - heavy snow bending trees. No evidence of tracks toward Lafayette. |
