Beautiful winter day to be in the mountains with friends! The trail was nicely packed out with just a few sections that weren't quite consolidated. In the higher elevation, the surface snow became a bit sticky due to the sun and made for an easy descent down the steeps from the peak. Two of us wore snowshoes from start to finish and one wore spikes down from the first viewpoint. This hike is a lovely snowshoe route. |
