Comments
Comments: Lots of moose track postholes, and the monorail was trying to firm up, but snowshoes are still recommended. First three miles of trail are bare bootable. The "relocated" portion of the Gale River Trail was a welcome one. Snow began around 3,200', mixed with portions of ice, requiring light traction. up higher, snowshoes are still recommended, all the way to the summit. Great day out with WildPeaks & Pucknuts. Shout out to Justin, who was solocamping.
