 | Comments: |
Skinned up the trail to just below Starr King, was feeling exhausted so turned around early. Trail is well packed out and many people were bootpacking. We skid and snowboarded down just along side the trail. Too low angle for it to be successful with 70cm of powder we recorded with our probe. Snow shoes will continue to be beneficial to keep the trail well packed out but microspikes were working for folks and there were no severe postholes. 2 degrees in the parking lot and no wind, bluebird day. Couldn't ask for anything better on the trail. |
