Comments
Comments: the start of trail is dry for 1/4 mile or so. Fairly unstable monorail after that. Most of the the trail was giving way because of water running underneath it. The section of trail between south and north peak had deep snow with many postholes. Snowshoes made the hike more comfortable for me, the few people I came across hiked in bareboots without too much trouble. A few stretches of avoidable ice patches ascending the South peak, but mostly dry rock and soft snow descending North peak.
