Lots of people on the trail today. Up to pierce was nicely packed. Snow was still loose so snowshoes seemed like the easier option. Spikes may be easier by tomorrow. Pierce to Eisenhower also had a decent amount of traffic. That section of trail was much softer though and slower going. Post holey without snowshoes. You will probably still need snoeshoes for that section. |
