Comments: Looks like the Presis were the place to be today!

I passed literally probably 60 people heading up as I was heading down. I’d say about 2/3 were in snowshoes, so the route got a lot of snowshoe love today.

I went snowshoes door-to-door. You *could* (that word is doing a lot of heavy lifting) go with spikes until the Mizpah junction, but immediately after that, the snowpack changes and becomes much softer. Highly recommend snowshoes until we get an actual thaw/freeze cycle. But also? The snow conditions right now are PRIME snowshoeing conditions.

Mizpah Cut-Off not broken out. The last push of Crawford before you bang the right onto Webster-Cliff, you’re walking on 5+’ of snow. It is wild how much snow is up there.

At least 20 people asked if I went to Eisenhower, so I’d bet some of them made the trek, and that should be broken out pretty well.
