Comments
Comments: Lincoln Woods Trail was packed. Starting on the Wilderness Trail, we had light trailbreaking for the rest of the day (other than a section near Zealand where we passed a group going southbound, but soon thereafter it was already drifted in). 1-3" new to Bondcliff (scramble south of the summit ridge is filling in nicely with snow), 6" or so from Bondcliff to Zeacliff area, with larger drifts. Some postholes along the Bondcliff ridge, but in general it was pretty well endowed with snow as compared to previous winter visits. Trails were decently packed for snowshoes after we passed through, however drifting and additional snow will change things. Zealand Trail was well packed, but snowshoes still a good idea. Zealand Road has a single snowshoe footbed broken out.
