Terrific morning - very beautiful woods. I would say either snowshoes or light traction were fine. The red pine steeps were kinda tedious with snowshoes but the top half mile had deeper snow so I appreciated the snowshoes. In some areas, the ice/snow is super thin. No views at the top but there were gorgeous views from ledges on the descent. Always fun to check out the lime kilns. Only a couple other people on the trail today. |
