Crossings are largely bridged but you could get wet if you aren't careful/paying attention |

One blowdown right before hut to crawl under, a couple more with easy herd paths around them |

Footprints spotted so hopes were high, but sadly no doggos seen |

Thanks for breaking trail Eliza (see other Sun 1/18 report)! We used spikes for the first mile or two then some of us switched to snowshoes. Had a few pairs of snowshoes on the way down packing the trail - should be in pretty good shape now. Met a couple guys at the hut who were traversing from the Twins (which makes I think 4 people who packed out Twinway between Galehead and the Twins on Sunday). As of 2pm Sunday Garfield Ridge Trail to Garfield was not broken. |
