Comments
Comments: Started with Hillsound Crampon PROs (their modified crampons) which worked out perfectly. Switched to snowshoes about 1.5 miles from the hut due to slippage which seemed to be the best choice. Worked our way up Osgood until we couldn’t get through w snowshoes then turned around as we left our crampons at the hut. Seemed like ideal conditions to summit as long as you are prepared for sub zero temps and moderate wind. Snowshoes for best traction all the way down to car.
