Comments
Comments: Took the bushwhack and I advise anyone to do the same as it the most packed out. When I saw where the actual trail met back up, it looked like the actual trail hadn’t be traveled in a while. Trail is packed pretty good the first 1.5/2 miles then becomes loosely packed. You can do the whole thing in spikes but you might sink an inch or two a lot and posthole once or twice. Could be less taxing to use snowshoes but spikes are totally fine. Be mindful on the water crossing, I dipped each foot in separate times because I was moving quick and not paying attention to where my feet were going. Once pretty soon after bushwhack started and once right after the second part of the bushwhack starts.
