Comments
Comments: I won the golden ticket today from yesterday’s storm. Trail conditions were overall good from the track that Hayley and friends laid down yesterday on their Twins and Galehead Traverse. Probably a couple inches on the lower ground to start, which turned to about 6 to 8 inches up top. I was able to wear my spikes the first few miles in and then I switched to the shoes and wore them to the summit and out. There’s a blowdown right up near the hut that you have to get down on your belly and army crawl under lol. Other than that, I got all the snow off all the trees for everybody.

Met two lovely ladies at the hut. We were all chatting about how we were grateful for the trail report from yesterday. Thank you so much, Hayley!

While we were chatting at the hut, the ladies told me they decided they would not be going back out through North Twin, so they decided to bail out Galehead. I went down to Yaya‘s for a coffee and was on my way back when I realized wait a minute, that’s not going to work.🤣 Luckily the timing was perfect to find them on the road and drive them back to the 7 Dwarves. The moral of the story is always go to Yaya’s for coffee after!
