 | Comments: |
Spikes up to Pierce, then snowshoes to Ike and back then kept them on for the descent outta sheer laziness. Spikes are more than sufficient if only going to Pierce. Very fluffy semi-consolidated pow in the trees and dust on crust w/some ice on the exposed knobs and the summit cone of Ike. The ladders are icy w/the bottom one buried. Winds were mean and badly miss having the big cairn as a windblock to have a summit snack without dying needlessly of hypothermia |
