Dog-Related Notes: So many awesome dogs today. Great trail for dogs. Just a note to the dog owners who don’t pick up poop, please do it’s respectful for all other trail users.

Lost and Found: 2 nalgenes and socks at the first intersection.

Comments: Perfect day, snow carpet the whole way. Micro spikes okay by the time we started at 11:15am, poles might have been nice for the steep section up (but we made it). Gorgeous views of the presi range at the top. Lots of people, great energy. 2 hours hiking time RT. Warm day so we hung at the top for 20 minutes, recommend if you’re looking for a good winter hike.
