Comments
Comments: Party of 4 OAB via Stony Brook. Only a thin layer of ice and hardpack covered with light snow at lower elevations, increasing to about 4" fresh powder atop loose but compacted snow with occasional drifts on the ridge. We packed out a good, but soft trough through it all. Carter-Moriah appeared mostly minimally packed out to the S and N of our route beneath fresh snow. Only passed 2 other people on the trail all day.
