 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked at the new lot. Carpooled to save space and $. We appreciate the landowner providing and maintaining this parking area. One can hardly expect that to happen for free, so the complainers should stop complaining. |

 | Comments: |
Barely any snow in the woods down low. Crusty, icy trail gave way to sticky snow. The kind that balls up your spikes. Snowshoes might have worked better in those conditions, especially on the ridge. But we were all happy to keep our packs a little lighter today and leave them in the cars. Only saw 2 other people, both on the ridge and who had come up Fishin Jimmy (or as one called it Effing Jimmy). Great view, warm temps...36 on S. summit. |
