Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Lot is not plowed but we were thrilled that both a low clearance vehicle and one that doesn’t do great in snow easily got in and out of lot. Snow is packed down and no berm at the bottom. We did note that the cross country ski parking area was plowed with access for numerous cars. Is a 0.3 mile road walk. The pull over area past Greeley pond TH heading towards Hancocks has not been plowed.

Comments
Comments: We did a happy dance when we saw we could get into the lot and continued to be very happy with trail conditions. Only a couple of really small areas of ice on the steeps that we were able to manage well. We wore snowshoes from Greeley pond sign out and back and bare booted the flat section in and out b
We used the bypass of the bypass of the chimney and it was fairly easy to pass through
Things are just about as good as it can be for this hike. Get it while it is good!
