Comments
Comments: Up Diceys was covered in about 2 or so inches or fresh snow and from wind drifts, Micro spikes the first mile or so then i switched to snowshoes for the remainder of the hike. Rollins hadn't been traversed in a few days, besides the outline of the trail, it was covered in fresh days old snow. Very fun as it was my first time using snowshoes. A few icy spots towards Whiteface, but nothing my evo ascents couldn't handle. Saw 2 others that had been wearing micros comming from Whiteface that definitely had a harder time moving than I did, and ill leave it at that. It was a long day and ended up being around 13.5 miles and just over 4200' of elevation. Saw a moose walking back towards my car, eating from trees in someone's yard, very cool.
