 | Comments: |
Microspikes were great for everything except for the Franconia Ridge Trail at the junction of Liberty Springs Trail until the approach to Little Haystack, where the snow was a mix of packed and loose powder and pretty messy/uneven. I was traveling from Liberty to Little Haystack, but saw three others traveling in the opposite direction. We were all in spikes. Snowshoes would have likely been a better option there. There may have been more traffic since Saturday, so these conditions might have changed! |
