 | Comments: |
Snowshoed down Class VI road 0.7 mile to a wide logging road. Large earthen berm blocks this logging road. Continued up logging road to a large wood yard. Flagging tape at the far end indicates direction to continue. Logging road now becomes narrower but always has flagging tape. At the end of this road, the yellow blazed trail starts. Frequent bright yellow blazes indicate the trail all the way to the summit.
Nice cabin on the summit. Nice views to the south.
Breaking effort minimal - 2-4" fluffy snow on a solid base.
Grades - easy |
