Comments
Comments: Seems like there was about 3" of snow from yesterday's storm. Lower elevations were wet/sticky from the above-freezing temperatures, and will probably be granular tomorrow after temperatures briefly drop tonight. Upper elevations remained powder, albeit a bit sticky, so they may not be granular tomorrow. Still boney in the snowshadow section, but otherwise everything has a decent base. A few assorted areas of slush, likely from the ice storm last week. Trails are decreasingly packed the further up one goes, in part from barebooters not going far.

It was soft today and will be soft for at least the next few days according to the forecast, so snowshoes are the way to go, both for personal efficiency, as well as leaving the trail in equal or better shape than you found it.

Partly sunny afternoon with temperatures in the upper 30s.
