Parked at the hairpin turn lot. It was mostly plowed with room for about 20 cars. |

The wide crossings had thin snow bridges. There were a couple narrow crossings to hop over. |

I did the loop clockwise. That seemed the most popular direction today. There were 10 or more people doing the loop.
Except for a short stretch at the beginning, I wore snowshoes all the way. I think that was the right choice, but a few people opted for spikes instead. The showshoe track is well-packed and in very good shape. I didn't see any serious post-holes.
Unfortunately, there were no views today, but descending South Hancock was fun. There is a very well developed butt luge track for the top 1/3 mile. |
