 | Comments: |
Hiked through about an inch of fresh snow. Trail took more navigation in open sections out of the trees but was very easy to follow in the trees. Some patches of ice on sloped rock sections (hidden by fresh and currently falling snow) were difficult to maintain traction. The difference between old and new spikes in the hiking group was noticeable. It was worse on the approach up to Dickey vs. between and down from Welch. |
