Passed 5 cornor, 2 cars parked for Gale River Rd, continued on to Beaver Brook Recreation Area. Lot plowed, one car in lot. The Beaver xc ski trail was well traveled by foot traffic, a right at every junction leads to campsite #3 on Gale River road, again it’s been well traveled. The distance from car to trailhead is .82 which beats the 1.5 miles of road walk. |

A couple of miles into trail is easily barebooted [please wear skis or snowshoes on the ski trails]. Beyond that point, it’s hiker’s choice, one member of our group wore snowshoes to summit and another Hillsounds. Both were happy with their choice. The trails are currently well compacted and in great shape. |
