Went clockwise.. trails from trailhead to north all hard packed, between peaks was drifty broke through those & there were a few others out there today behind me, that may have helped the cause. Down south was soft/ hard packed, if you’re a buttsledder you’d probably love this part, I preferred a standing glissade when needed. You’re going to want the snowshoes & could just wear the whole way, to not have to carry. The heel lifts surely will save your calves on the ups. Otherwise honestly spikes could get the job done, but I’d say a hiking crampon like K10s would provide better traction. The downed trees you can hike around or under. Water crossing note should speak for itself , just watch your step.
No more news to report other than, good one for a colder/ windy day since it’s mostly sheltered.
