Comments: (Note: Danger Drop Hill is the 1,197 ft. bump just east of Wallingford, and named as such on Peakbagger: https://www.peakbagger.com/peak.aspx?pid=-54238)

Solid ground conditions all the way to the summit of Wallingford but not smooth. The footbed is choppy from boot traffic. Snow depths are minimal and snowshoes would be of no use at this time. I wore Hillsounds round-trip.

From the true summit of Wallingford beyond where the maintained trail ends, I followed Fred and Linda's recent tracks (thank you!) over to Danger Drop Hill, about a quarter mile away. The wooded summit is not recognized with a register but does have a small cairn. The bushwhack was as easy as it gets -- totally open woods and easy grades.

A nice morning on a local-ish peak.
