Hiked with another adult today-what an odd sensation. First ones on summit today. Barebooted to herd path then immediately put on snowshoes and wore them back to the same point. There were six skiers and eight hikers today including us. Four in snowshoes helping pack down the soft trail, and four people carrying snowshoes but not using them. They must have been dropped on their heads as children or something? Snowed much of the morning and was a tad chilly, but another fine time was had with fine company! |
