Nice New Year's hike. An inch or two of fresh snow on the trail but packed well beneath it. A lot of ice near the rock slide but was fine with just micro spikes. Had to turn around 0.8 from summit because strap broke on the micro spikes and thought caution was the best rough. Descended slowly and gingerly! |
