Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Good conditions overall, but one big oak blow down on Red Tr near the junction with Blue Trail. Chainsaw would be best. Duck under.

Comments
Comments: Hard crusty snow today, bare booted with no problem, snowshoes and traction were not needed and rode the pack today. I did check off light traction as some may feel more comfortable with it in spots. Some ice flows here and there that were avoidable.

Clockwise loop over Mt. Shannon. Nice lake views from the ledges, and some nice interior views of the Belknaps going down the Blue/Yellow trail.

So many fun critter tracks in the snow.

Happy New Year!
