Lost and Found
Lost and Found: We found a baggie of figs and dates on trail, clearly from someone in front of us. Being the normal person I am, I asked everyone I saw until I found the owner "ARE YOU CONSTIPATED?"

Comments
Comments: A FINE day in the forest with Gypsy. She was "Queen Solomon" today, as I wanted to grab atleast one NH100W, but she was averse to bushwhacking. So we split the baby with Scaur. Bareboot until the big rock crossing, then snowshoes on until the car. There where four others out, all in snowshoes, and one random dude bareboot. He was not parked at the trailhead and I have no idea where he was headed, but Sabbaday nor is the trail broken out past Middle, so hopefully that doesn't become a callout. Trail is in great shape thanks to prior days trampers. Snow depth on the ridge to Scaur was about a foot, however we popped on the north side of the ridge to avoid a few blowdowns and as typical, the snow depth rapidly increased. It was thigh high in spots in snowshoes. Snow is all frozen granular, there is no evidence of a breakable crust from the rain event last week. This was Gypsy's first bushwhack - and she led from the col to the summit, she did awesome! We continually leapfrogged the same two groups. Was great to see some familiar faces today. Kind of funny, of the six out, three where 366 finishers! Of note, there was enough snow to cover a good chunk of the ice that is underneath and it was a non factor for most of the day, even on the final pitch to North. Take that into consideration post ice storm
