Comments
Comments: Barebooted to the big rock at 2800', then snowshoes to the summit. Spikes on at 3100' on the descent to the car. Pretty solid boot track on the road, very boney down low, the crossings are dust on ice so beware, I did a little break dancing on the way up and took a knee on one descent. Pretty messy climbing burnt knoll, a mix of decent pow, some boney sections and the swampy stretch at 2300' is pretty slushy. Somewhat boney up to 3500' above where snow depth is much better for snowshoes. Sadly passed a group of 4 postholios right below the summit cone, I did my best to smooth it out but still some postholes, sigh. The top stretch is a lovely luge. If you need it, strongly recommend sending before Mondays storm event.
