Comments
Comments: This was a very pretty hike.

Started with Baldface Circle Trail which had been traveled by both skiers and snowshoers. Snowshoes continued up Bicknell Ridge Trail (wait... what?!), so broken out until about a mile below the ridge, where they turned around.

I continued up to the ridge (ledges! views!), then did a 180 and dropped down unbroken Eagle-Cascade Link. 4-6" of new snow, with lots of hidden ice and rocks. SO many animal tracks here!! Cascade itself was mostly frozen.

Baldface Circle between E-C Link and Bicknell was unbroken but easy breaking solo. Emerald Pool was completely frozen.

Beautiful hike... 5th hike in 7 days with no other humans encountered. :)
