Comments
Comments: Spikes the whole way starting with the road walk. Winslow going up had less snow than I expected but there was a large amount of ice. Summit was very windy and mostly bare rock with some Ice patches. Rollins and Lincoln were a combo of snow, less than 6" deep, and ice, and bare batches. Snow shoes would not have been helpful today. Definitely felt like shoulder season conditions and I think today's spikes may be demoted to rock spike status. Luckily there was enough ice to dig spikes into, or there were dry patches to step on.
