Comments
Comments: Considering the warm weather and rain on Friday, the trails were in pretty good shape. Heavy ice low on the Monroe Loop with hardpan in the middle and lots of exposed rock up high. Ammo was mostly good once on the re-route and higher. The trail up high was generally firm but lined with many deep postholes at the edges. Snowshoes on the way up and crampons on the way down the steeps.
